How can I determine if a Relisted Item is eligible for a fee credit?

Summary

If your listing ends without a winning buyer, you may qualify for a credit by relisting the item.  Please note the specific scenario below that qualifies for an Insertion Fee credit. Additionally, note that the RelistItem call can be made for any ended item that belongs to the seller. The success of the RelistItem call does not imply eligibility for a relist credit.

Detailed Description

Valid Scenario:

1. Item A is Listed.
2. Item A ends without a winning buyer
3. Item A is relisted as Item B.
4. Item B ends with a winning buyer.

Item B is eligible for a relist credit because it sold successfully.

Invalid Scenarios:

1. Item A is Listed.
2. Item A ends without a winning buyer
3. Item A is relisted as Item B.
4. Item B ends without a winning buyer
5. Item B is relisted as Item C.

Item B is not eligible for a relist credit because it did not sell.
Item C is not eligible for a relist credit, even if it sells successfully, because it originated from a 'relisted item'.

1. Item A is Listed.
2. Item A ends without a winning buyer
3. Item A is relisted as Item B.
4. Item B ends without a winning buyer
5. Item A is relisted as Item D.

Item B is not eligible for a relist credit because it did not sell.
Item D is not eligible for a relist credit, even if it sells successfully, because it was the second relist. Only the first relisted item is eligible.
